What is felting?

Making my own fabrics using soap, water and friction to fuse together different natural materials such as soya, bamboo, silk and merino wool to create a completely unique fabric.

I also work with precious stones and metals to create one off hair-pieces and corsages.

Inspired by nature (I work in a studio in the forest) and with a background in painting (awareness of colour, composition and form), these influences are strong in the creation of my felts.
